1. The Synopsis Of Literary Work

This song is created by Michael Heart. It is created in 2009. A singer from Los Angeles, United States is Michael Heart made song called “We will not go down” (Song for Gaza), from the title of this we mean that Michael postscript these Americans dedicate this song to the victims of the war between Palestine and Israeli in Gaza.

The song is scheduled to be Michael sold and the proceeds will be donated specifically to the people in Gaza, but failed to do and this song made free in mp3 format that can be downloaded on the website of Michael himself. Michael hopes that his song is free to listeners willing and willing to donate their own little sustenance to the people of Gaza.

This song is sung by Michael Heart as an encouragement for people who live in the path of Gaza. The meaning of this song is “We will not go down" was the title of the song. This song tells how terrible condition that occurs in Gaza war where every day people who were there cannot be a happy life. They must seek shelter to avoid the bombs there that was unrelenting. They do not know what they are going to live or die; they felt concern should always daytime and evening.

There are some points that Michael wants to us know, there are:

a) Air Attack Israel

- A blinding flash of white light

Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight

People running for cover

Not knowing whether they're dead or alive

Here is the sound of the first verse We Will Not Go Down. As you can see, Heart immediately give a picture of the night sky in Gaza are filled with light - light results throw bombs or missiles (airstrikes).

In the next stanza, Heart depicts a panic reaction from the Palestinians who try to hide and seek protection for their safety. This was reflected in the lyrical pieces, 'People running for cover. Not knowing whether they're dead or alive ‘.

b) The massacre Until not Remaining

They Came with Reviews their tanks and their planes

With ravaging fiery flames

And nothing remains

Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze

In the next stanza, Heart tried to give further details about the variations of attacks launched by Israel in the Gaza Strip. Not only from air attack, have they also used the tank between glowing embers everywhere. (They Came with Reviews their tanks and their planes with ravaging fiery flames).

Here we can draw the conclusion that after the air strikes, Israel gave ground attacks continued to kill anyone they see and still left. (And Nothing Remains).

In the chorus , Heart illustrates that the victims of the Israeli attack still has a passion for life and fight back even if they were in a state of suppressed .

Furthermore Heart gives an overview of how the destruction of track found the Israeli attack. As you can see on a fragment of lyrics, “you can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools.’

Even so, the Palestinians refused to give up. Spirit they described would continue blazing despite already become the victims of terrorist attacks. (But our spirit will never die. We Will Not Go Down in Gaza tonight).

d) The Leader Not Sending a Help for Palestine

Women and children alike

Murdered and massacred night after night

While the so-called leaders of countries afar

Debated on who's wrong or right

After the chorus, eerie atmosphere re-presented by Heart of the situation in the Gaza Strip. Illustrated that the terrorist attacks last for days, night after night, no matter women or children were all killed without mercy. (Women and children alike. Murdered and massacred night after night).

Heart also touched leaders in other countries who do not send aid even though they were persecuted mercilessly. They're just busy arguing with each other to determine who is right and wrong for the incident. (While the so-called leaders of countries afar. Debated on who's wrong or right).

e) Covered Tears and Blood

But Reviews their powerless words were in vain

And the bombs fell down like acid rain

But through the tears and the blood and the pain

You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze

Connecting satire on the previous leader, Heart brings again that the debate they did not mean anything and does not help at all. Bombs continue to bombard Gaza, and the innocent victims continue to fall. (But Reviews their powerless words were in vain. And the bombs fell down like acid rain).

Fear is clearly depicted by Heart on the last line. The victims were covered with tears, blood, and pain all over the body. All those feelings wrapped with shouts of suffering of each of the fumes that meet the night sky Gaza. (Through the tears and the blood and the pain. You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze).

2. The Islamic Value That Will Be Connected With The Holy Qur’an And Hadits

The Islamic value from this song:

a. We as a Muslim should help our brother in another country or in other places in this world that have a trouble or war. It is related with the Holy Qur’an surah Al-Hujarat 10.

The meaning is “The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.”

It means that we as a Muslim should care with another Muslim in every condition, because we are brother.

b. We as a Muslim we should not despair in chanting prayers for our brothers there. Our prayers should not feel hopeless. Similarly we should not think that the Zionist will be left with just pride. It is related with The Holy Qur’an surah Ibrahim ayat 42 :

“And you lived among the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how we dealt with them. And we presented for you [many] examples." (Q.S Ibrahim 42)

c. There are a lot of people a lot of the Muslims weak powerless. No major changes occur in the lifestyle of most of the Muslims after the fall of the Ottoman Caliphate in Turkey. Many Muslims countries colonized by Western countries and the population began to adopt the thinking and lifestyle of Western materialistic. As a result, love of wealth and the world began to take root in the lives of the Muslims.

At that moment, the glory of jihad fortify Islam started is undermined. The Quran has described this fact clearly. Allah says:

The meaning is “Indeed, the postponing [of restriction within sacred months] is an increase in disbelief by which those who have disbelieved are led [further] astray. They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year to correspond to the number made unlawful by Allah and [thus] make lawful what Allah has made unlawful. Made pleasing to them is the evil of their deeds; and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people”. (Q.S At Taubah 39)

These weaknesses are immediately captured by the enemies of Islam. They are now more willing to persecute and trample Islamic countries because they feel 'safe' with weak spirit of the Muslims in jihad. See it in a systematic attack on a Muslim country in the past two wars. From the start of Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, until the countries included in the waiting list of such attacks; Iran, Sudan and Syria.

This accident like this is also happening in Palestine, the Israeli arrogance in the Palestinian bombarded with confidence, either because they believe there is not one Muslim country dared to send troops to defend the Palestinians in the name of jihad. Muslim countries in a state of weakness and fear of facing retaliation America and its allies face to face. Israel eventually swings so comfortably in the spread of cluster bombs in Palestine. No defense of its neighboring Muslim countries.

3. The Application Of Literary Work In English Teaching At A Classroom

Subject : Listening and Speaking Skill

Grade : Second Grade of Senior High School

Method : Grammar Translation Method

Procedure to do this assignment:

a) The teacher prepares the blank text about the lyrics. For information the missing word is a word that has emotional meaning then it will be disused after audio had finished.

b) The techer gives the text to learners, and explains the procedure of this task before begins. The teacher can use Bahasa to make the learners understand about the procedure to fill these missing lyrics.

c) Then the teacher gives a chance to learner to ask about the procedure while the teacher prepares this song to listen.

d) After that, the teacher will start the audio. The teacher just gives three times to play this song.

e) The teacher gives fifteen minutes for learner to finish their work.

f) After all of the students finish, the teacher will correct it together with the learners.

For Speaking skill:

a) After the teacher correct their work, teacher can write about sympathy word and word that shows the emotion in this lyrics. “Like bomb, murdered, massacred”

b) The teachers give the definition and explain the meaning of this song. The aim of this explanation is to open up mind of students that our brother still suffering in Gaza and need our help although though Doa.

c) Then the teacher will choose learner randomly to retell this story that include on this song.
